Mood board

Below is a mood board I have created to express my view/interpretation of what my production group and I’s sequence will look like. All three of us have produced mood boards to come to a similar viewpoint of how the sequence will look and feel. Below is my mood Board: 

 

 

My interpretation of how the Mob boss will be portrayed, I see him as being reasonably old to show his authority and status within the mob, as well as looking equally as threatening, we will do this through his appearance with things like face scars. It's also very important that we portray him as the boss, this will be done through his handling of himself as well as the use of whisky and potentially a cigar, with him lounging in a dark living room. 

 

 

Jason will be smartly dressed, as he will have a businessman like look with an upper-class tone, suggested by things such as the family crest on his signet ring and his posture. We will be reading a newspaper of something like show how he is not expecting what is about to happen to him. 

 

 

As Jason's bodyguard who is then ordered to kill him through a higher order, he will have to portrayed as a cold killer/hitman to show that this type of guy would do something like this. Therefore, we will likely hide part of his identity through sunglasses for example, as well as potentially having hand tattoos to show links to his earlier life that will connote cold killer suggestions. 

 

Although the main set will be the inside of a nice SUV, it will be parked outside a manor like country house, this will show the wealth and power of the mafia. Furthermore, the final scene will be shot in a dark living room with a nice sofa and other ordainments to show this is the boss and he is relaxed.
